Pedagogy & Compliance
The Compliance Agent ensures:
- The centre’s compliance by performing inspections;
- Renewal of licences and permits;
- Updating Program Plans;
- Management and update of centres’ insurance;
- Necessary exemption requests;
- Updating the compliance binder;
- The development and implementation of policies and procedures;
- Managing and following up on critical incidents and complaints;
- Contact with the agents of Children’s Services and Alberta Health Services
The Compliance Agent also participates:
- In the hiring and selection process for new coordinators;
- In the training and mentorship of new coordinators;
- In the evaluations of coordinators;
- In meetings with coordinators;
- In conflict resolution within teams
The Pedagogical Support Agent offers support with:
- Planning;
- Observation;
- Arranging and organizing spaces;
- Staff needs;
- Children’s needs;
- Educational practices;
- Interventions with children;
- Implementing the pedagogical framework;
- Children with special needs (accompanying families)
The Pedagogical Support Agent also participates:
- In the training and mentorship of new coordinators;
- In the evaluations of coordinators;
- In meetings with coordinators;
- Accompaniment during employee evaluations;
- The support and accompaniment plan for children facing challenges;
- Accompanying the team during meetings with parents
